Curriculum Vitae
- Graduated in 1980 from Nottingham Trent University
- Qualified as a Chartered Quantity Surveyor in 1985 (RICS No. 0071186)
- Diversified into Project Management and Building Surveying in 1990, specialising in Party Wall Surveying from 1992, and Construction Health and Safety Management, from 1995.
- Member of the Pyramus & Thisbe Club (P&T) from 1998 and of the Association of Building Engineers (ABE) from 1999
- Director of BPM Management Services Ltd (part of the BPM Group of Companies) from 1997-2008, prior to establishing this practice.
Summary of services
Party Wall Surveying
We have undertaken numerous appointments as Party Wall Surveyors, for both Building and Adjoining Owners, on a wide range of inner city commercial and residential development projects, some straightforward, many in complex and sensitive situations, requiring a wide understanding of the broader implications of modern construction practices.
Building Surveying
Building Surveys, building defect investigation and analysis, design drawings, costing and supervision of building projects, including planning applications and Building Regulations approvals.
CDM Co-ordinator (Management of Construction Health & Safety)
With the introduction of the Construction (Design & Management) Regulations 1995, I attained membership of the Association of Planning Supervisors in 1997, and following the 2007 revision to those Regulations, achieved Registered Membership of its successor organisation, the Association for Project Safety (APS).
